At the heart of The Last Song of the Mistle Thrush are these wonderful birds. 

I support the charity Songbird Survival. This independent charity is working to halt the decline of songbird numbers in the UK. They have endorsed my book, saying, " The Last Song of the Mistle Thrush is a lyrical celebration of the beauty of the mistle thrush song and a powerful reminder to us all of the need to conserve our natural environment, including woodlands, as far as possible, so we can continue to hear the joyful tunes of our precious songbirds."
